Schenker/Barden Concord Date (Cancelled?) & Fairfax Date: I just noticed on MSH.com that the January 3rd Pleasenton, CA date of Schenker/Barden Acoustic Project U.S. tour has been replaced by the Concord venue (cf. 11/06/09 update No.2). Sorry about that. However, Stefan received the following message from TicketWeb.com. It looks like the Concord date will be cancelled. Thanks and sorry, Stefan.

Awesome 2001 live show from MSG, features guests Jack Bruce and Uli Roth (Scorpions).

MSG recorded live at the Castle Donington Rock & Blues Festival, in 2001. The Michael Schenker Group is without a doubt one of the most exciting live bands around and this full concert from 2001 is amazing. Michael's band includes Uli John Roth on guitar (ex-Scorpions), Clive Bunker on drums (ex-Jethro Tull), Don Airey on keyboards (Rainbow/Deep Purple/Ozzy Osbourne) and Barry Sparks on bass (Dokken/Yngwie Malmsteen). Guests include Jack Bruce (Cream) and Pete Way (UFO). The DVD contains the full show and backstage footage plus five live audio only songs with Schenker and Gary Barden.

MSG Live & Loud CD (Cont'd): Peter @ Mondria's Michael Schenker Fansite has kindly informed me of the detail of the tracklisting of the newly released CD titled Live & Loud. The previous information said that the tracks were recorded on tour during 2004 and 2006, however, it's not correct as I suspected. Thanks, Peter!!! (cf. 09/10/09 update)

The live tracks were taken from two MSG live releases namely 'The Michael Schenker Story' (1997) and 'The Unforgiven World Tour' (1999).
'Written In The Sand' was taken from the same-named studio album (1996)
The History tells Michael's biography from his early days until 2009. (6:52 min.)

MSG Sao Paulo Show Review & Photos: Paula has kindly informed me that a review (in Portuguese) of MSG's Sao Paulo show which took place on July 26 can be found on this Brazilian website. There you can find two pictures of the concert and one picture of the set list. According to Paula, the person who wrote the review says that the concert was one hour delayed, there was some tecnical problems with the sound, Michael was in a good shape, Chris Slade was amazing. He says that the audience was amazed, they saluted Michael singing "Ole Ole Ole Ole, Schenker, Schenker..." and he looked like he was enjoying the moment. Just wanted to give you a quick update. The US MSG Tour 2009 was amazing, more details on this later... MSG is finally in South America!!
We have just landed here in Buenos Aires, Argentina and can't wait to ROCK!! That's because it's so cold here...33degrees!! We are looking forward to a great show tomorrow, especially because MSG has never played here in Argentina...

MSG Rio Concert Cancelled? (UNOFFICIAL): Paula from Brazil kindly informed that some producers of the MSG concerts in Brazil are saying that the Rio concert is cancelled and that there's going to be only one concert in Brazil which is in Sao Paulo. According to Paula, the tickets for Sao Paulo are available, but there's no tickets for Rio. A promo video for Sao Paulo gig can be viewed on youtube. It says something like "Only concert in Brazil at Stones Music Bar, Sunday July 26. Tickets is now on sale". Thanks, Paula!!!
