[12/30/2017 update]
Michael Schenker New Best Album: According to Planet Rock, a new retrospective collection of Michael Schenker is to be released on Friday 26th January 2018 (February 28 in Japan from King Records): A Decade Of The Mad Axeman is a 2CD collection that focuses on the studio and live output of Schenker between 2007 and 2016.

The first disc boasts 16 tracks and documents Schenker’s studio material including the 2008 Michael Schenker Group album ‘In the Midst of Beauty’ together with the Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock albums ‘Temple of Rock’ (2011), ‘Bridge The Gap’ (2013) and ‘Spirit on a Mission’ (2015).

The 14-track second disc collates live material from MSG and MS’s Temple of Rock shows in Tokyo, London, Tilburg and Madrid between 2010 and 2016.

Band members who contributed to the retrospective include Don Airey, Gary Barden, Francis Buchholz, Wayne Findlay, Chris Glen, Steve Mann, Robin McAuley,Ted McKenna, Neil Murray, Simon Phillips, Herman Rarebell, Elliott 'Dean' Rubinson, Chris Slade, Brian Tichy, Michael Voss, Pete Way and Doogie White.

Michael Amott, Graham Bonnet, Rudolf Schenker, Jeff Scott Soto and Leslie West also feature as special guests.

Michael Schenker to Visit Tokyo for Promotion: According to Ward Recort, on Sunday the 28th of January 2018, there will be a special event for the 200th memorial program of Masa Ito's Rock TV! show to be held in Shibuya, Tokyo where Michael Schenker will appear as a special guest. Those who purchased the products from Ward Record online can apply for the tickets for this event. Winners will be chosen randomly. Closing date is January 14, 2018.

Resurrction Japan Release Date: Michael Schenker Fest's upcoming studio album titled 'Resurrection' is slated for release in Japan on January 28, 2018, a little bit ahead of the rest of the world. It can be pre-ordered in various formats (CD, CD+Bonus DVD, CD+Bonus DVD+T-Shirt, and Autographed Card+CD+Bonus DVD+T-Shirt) on Ward Recort. Unfortunately, the 100 limited sets with card autographed by Michael Schenker has been already sold out.

Release of Michael Schenker Fest's Resurrection and Warrior: According to Nuclear Blast, Michael Schenker Fest released their new digital single 'Warrior' and its official video including some impressions of the stduio recording process on December 1, 2017.

'Warrior' is one of two album tracks on which all of the four lead singers appear. It was composed by Michael Schenker, the lyrics were written by Michael Voss-Schoen.

The band have just started the recording process for a brand-new studio album with producer Michael Voss. Its release is set for spring 2018 through Nuclear Blast, the band's new record label.
