Hello Ritchie,
I am shocked and saddened by the recent disastrous events in Japan. The pain, the stress being suffered, is unimaginable. Having personally experienced the warmth and hospitality of the Japanese people many times, while on tour with The Michael Schenker Group, I am especially concerned and follow any news currently available. I also know that the great strength of character of the Japanese people will help them through this terrible time.

Dear R.B,
Your friends and fans are very relieved to hear you are ok
I/we are all so very sad at the monumental loss of life and devastation that has unfolded in Japan. One cannot fathom such horror and the chaos that Japan is experiencing.
Our hearts go out to your Nation and in the heroic efforts of the workers and people trying to restore the power and in the search efforts for survivors-If people here in American have a chance to donate a bit in monetary compensation to relief efforts it would be greatly appreciated.

Well where do I start, My heart goes out to each & everyone who has been touched by this disaster. When I look at my problems, they are so belittled by compare. I can't even get upset about things that used to bother me. The people of Japan by my experience are wonderful, no matter what job they do, they do with pride and enthusiasm...I have never forgotten that. I hope someday soon that I will be back to Japan touring. May God Bless each and everyone who has been affected by this tragedy and my prayers will consistently be filled with those in mind!...David VanLanding

"TO THE STRONGEST PEOPLE I KNOW. THE TRIALS THE JAPANESE PEOPLE HAVE SUFFERED OVER THE YEARS FROM THE HUMAN ELEMENT AND FROM NATURE ITSELF IS REMARKABLE.
THE LOVE THEY HAVE FOR EACH OTHER AND THE VALUE THEY PUT ON HUMAN LIVES, THEIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IS ADMIRABLE BEYOND SIMPLE WORDS.
THEY ARE AN EXAMPLE TO US ALL, TO PUT THE VALUES OF THE WORLD IN THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE."
