I had "Du bist ein Gott (You are a god)" written in German on a note stuck to the back of my phone, and it seems Michael read it‼️ He even gave me a fist bump👊💕 Such happiness✨

Michael is still playing brilliantly. Steve Mann is an excellent keyboard/rhythm guitarist and even plays some leads on songs like Natural Thing and This Kids. He’s about the only person besides Wayne Findley that I’ve seen in person who trades lead solos with Michael ? apart from a surprise guest like Warren DeMartini in San Diego ten years ago, who mostly played rhythm on Rock Bottom.

Vocals were excellent. The drummer and bassist formed a rock-solid rhythm section and even had short solos, apparently due to Michael’s slightly out-of-tune guitar. Overall, a very solid lineup for Michael, with great fan participation and a few selections not on *Strangers in the Night* that were my favorites of the evening.

Day 1 was fantastic 😭🙏😭

Barend Courbois & Bodo Schopf were making tooth-shaking heavy sound!
Rd Liapakis ? his voice was matching them pretty well!
Steve Mann is busy playing excellent keyboard and guitar on stage right; too bad he doesn’t run to my side…
Barend Courbois comes play with Michael Schenker on stage left though…

Look forward to seeing all of you tonight again at Grove of Anaheim.
