Saw Michael last night in Poughkeepsie at the Chance theater. Not having seen him in many years, I can say this about him- he never looked happier and more at ease playing to his fans. I sense he has achieved some inner peace and that playing live is now a comfortable and happy space for him. I won't knock Doogie. He looks happy to be there! My fondest feelings for Michael's music stem from UFO and his first 3 MSG records (due much to the songwriting contributions of others including Mogg, Barden and Bonnet) he has continued to grow as the greatest hard rock guitarist in history. Thank you, Michael and band for a great time with old pals; we were able to re-live many happy memories there last night from our irreplaceable youth during the heyday and pinnacle of rock and roll some 30+ years ago! I will always wish for another UFO/Michael reunion even though many say it is unlikely! God bless!
