The Rainbow Foundation is throwing its annual toy drive concert, 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2004 at Synergy, located at 243 W. Roosevelt Rd., in West Chicago. This concert features Robin McAuley, former lead singer of McAuley Schenker Group, Amy Schugar, making her Chicago debut featuring songs from her new CD co-written with Michael Schenker titled “Under Construction.” Helping Amy with her debut will be Dave Uhrich. Dave was the winner of Chicago’s hottest guitar competition five years in a row. Dave has toured with Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and REO Speedwagon. as well as several others. Opening the show will be the number one tribute band in Chicago, MST Michael Schenker Tribute.
Admission to the benefit is $12 at the door and $10 with a toy. For more information, call 847-891-5035.
